Everything Hot Sauce Chicken and Peach Kebabs

Recipe: Everything Hot Sauce Chicken and Peach Kebab

One of the exciting things about our Everything hot sauce is that it tenderizes your meat in as little as 20 mins. That is amazing! Especially when you have family and friends coming for dinner and you really want to impress them. What you will need for your recipe:

1 large skillet, grill pan, or regular grill for cooking

1.5 Lbs of Boneless, skinless chicken breast (approx. 6 pcs)

1/4 cup of Everything Hot Sauce (To marinate)

4 Peaches (Not too ripe)

1/4 cup of honey

1 sprig of Savory Herb

1Tbs water

1 tsp salt

1tsp pepper

2 Tbs of Olive Oil

4 Large Skewers (If using wooden skewers soaked in water before using)

METHOD

You will need a clean ceramic or metal bowl for marinating your chicken. Feel free to use your favourite bowl. Take your chicken breast from the package and place it in the bowl. If you feel like rinsing your chicken, you can do so. I like to cut a wedge of lemon and add the juice to the chicken if I decide to rinse the chicken. Shake your Jar of Everything Hot Sauce because there will be some settling at the bottom that's okay. Measure out a 1/4 cup of Everything Hot Sauce and pour this over your uncooked chicken. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Feel free to use your oven timer to keep track of the time. In the meantime, wash and rinse your fresh Peaches and start cutting them into wedges. You want a good-sized wedge. Not too small. If it is too small, it will cook quicker than your chicken and gets mushy. Once you are finished cutting all four (4 Peaches,) then turn your attention to your marinated chicken. Take your bowl out of the refrigerator and use kitchen scissors or a knife of your choice. Start cutting your chicken breast into approximately 2-3 oz sizes. In other words, small nugget sized pieces.

I typically start with peaches first. So, first on the skewer is a slice of peach wedge followed by a piece of chicken. Just a reminder, make sure you have a large plate or tray to place your finished kebabs on before you start assembling. Alternating as you go. My preferred method is 3 pieces of chicken on each skewer and 3-4 peach slices. That will give you a good-sized kebab. Once completed, take your large-sized skillet to the stove or your grill pan. If cooking on your outdoor grill, then that's super too! I used my grill pan. I heat it to medium heat and add about 2 TBS of Olive Oil. You can use whatever cooking oil you prefer. It could be a vegetable, sunflower oil, or coconut oil. It's your choice.

Once your pan is fully heated, place 1 or 2 Kebabs to the pan. Depending on the size of your skillet or grill pan, you can add maybe three kebabs at a time. My stove-top grill pan can only hold two kebabs at a time. Cook your kebabs for approximately 10 minutes making sure to turn them over every 2 minutes. This will make sure your kebabs are cook through completely. While they are cooking, you will notice the oil spattering a bit. I recommend placing a piece of foil on top to not only prevent making a mess of your stove-top but to keep your chicken nice and moist.

Once all your kebabs are cooked, place them on your favourite tray and once again shake your Everything Hot Sauce jar and measure another 1/4 cup of the sauce and pour this over your chicken. Walla! You did it. Dinner ready in just 30-40 mins not bad. Your Peaches should be medium-firm after cooking. Not soft and mushy.

The best thing about Roseberry Preservations Hot Sauce is that it tenderizes your meat and makes it's super moist and soft. No more dried out meat when cooking Kebabs for your family. If you feel like take your kebabs to another level by adding your favourites herbs and spices at the end of cooking your kebabs feel free to do that too. Enjoy!
